Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme – 100% State Sponsored

Objective – To reduce the dropout rate of girls from backward classes studying in Standards 5th to 7th and Standards 8th to 10th, the Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme was launched respectively in the years 1996 and 2003.

No income or marks criteria.

The benefit of this scheme is given to girl students belonging to the Scheduled Caste category.

Applicable to all girl students studying in government-recognized aided, unaided, and permanently unaided schools.
