    1. Koyna Dam
      One of the largest dams in Maharashtra. The vast reservoir, also known as Shiv Sagar Reservoir, is a major attraction.

    2. Nehru Garden
      A beautiful garden located near Koyna Dam, popular for relaxation and enjoying nature.

    3. Ozarde Waterfall
      The waterfall flows during the monsoon season and becomes a popular tourist spot.

    4. Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary
      Spread across the Sahyadri mountain range, the sanctuary is known for rich biodiversity, wildlife, and scenic landscapes.

    5. Chafal Ram Temple
      A historic and religious temple established by Samarth Ramdas Swami.

    6. Sada Waghapur Reverse Waterfall
      Due to strong winds, the water flows upward instead of falling downward. This phenomenon is especially visible during the monsoon and attracts many visitors.

    7. Walmik Plateau
      According to legend, Valya Koli became Sage Valmiki through penance at this place. It is also the origin point of the Wang River.

    8. K2 Point
      Offers a panoramic and scenic view of the Koyna Dam backwaters.

    9. Dhareshwar and Rudreshwar Mahadev Temples
      Ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for their historical importance.

    10. Dategad Fort
      A fort famous for its sword-shaped well.

    Other attractions include Bahuleshwar Mahadev Temple, Kondawale Waterfall, Ghatmatha, and several small and large waterfalls and green valleys during the monsoon season.

    • The Bahuleshwar and Dhareshwar temples are believed to belong to the Shilahar / Yadava period of the medieval era.

    • During the reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this region was strategically important due to its mountainous terrain and dense forests.
